There are SEVERAL ways to modify handstand push ups:

1. Pike position with toes on a box
2. Pike position with knees on a box
3. Handstand against with wall with abmat

If you choose the Pike/box modification, you need to make sure your hips are directly over your shoulders, over your hands and you are passing through the full range of motion. Watch the video for more.
