Find your 3RM back squat

On the minute for 10 minutes:
3 back squats @ 75-80% of 3RM
3 Box jumps as high as possible

If you honestly think the title of this post is our approach to programming, you are mistaken. We don’t specialize, target, or work certain muscle groups on certain days. We target and specialize in overall fitness, everyday. Being fit is not being able to run a marathon in 2.5 hours. It’s also not deadlifting 500 pounds. It’s smack dab in the middle. It’s comprised of 10 skills we believe everyone should be “good” in. Because if you are great in one, you are more than likely poor in another.

Cardiovascular endurance, stamina, strength, power, speed, flexibility, coordination, agility, accuracy and balance.

If an individual can be well rounded in all of these skills, then we call them “fit”. Variety is key. Boredom is our nemesis. There are endless possibilties for testing fitness and we strive to never run out. So if we deadlift for 3 WOD’s in one week, it’s not because we want to “work our hamstrings” or “hypertrophy our quads”. If you notice, every other element on that given day is different. From the warm-up, to the rep scheme to the weight. Every compound lift is not just working the obvious muscle. You won’t realize until the next day when you are randomly sore in places you didn’t know you were using for that lift. There is a method to this madness!! Just stick with us long enough to find out.
