How do you know when its time to add more weight?

When you can hold a barbell over your head and relax, it’s probably time to kick it up a notch.  Jaime is not slacking here.  Her shoulder strength is obviously far superior to her lower body strength.  This is a common problem with CrossFitters.  We have relied so much, over years and years of physical mis-management, that our upper body is used to taking the brunt of everything.  If you have miraculously developed lower back problem since doing CrossFit, you probably haven’t been lifting right for years.  If your Bench Press or Overhead weight is near your squat weight, yopu have not been lifting correctly.  There is hope!  And you’re doing it right now.  Listen to your body and your coaches.  We see what your body can do, even if you don’t think it’s possible.
