The Wait is Over!

This weeks WOD is up! 

We will have a Team workout this Saturday at 10:30 in our own box. 

If you are not a member, but wish to particpate, there is an additional $10 cost for the gym.  You must still be a REGISTERED ATHLETE in order to compete. 

If you cannot make the Saturday workout, get a hold of me, Rob, or Ben and arrange a time to do it.  You may substitute the week’s WOD for our daily one.  In fact, I will insist you do so. 

YOU ARE RUNNING OUT OF EXCUSES NOT TO REGISTER!  I will re-program all of our WODs if that’s what it comes to. 

You have until Satuday morning to get signed up. Don’t miss this opportunity!  You may be the only one. (How’s that for peer presure?)  If you have questions, comment at the bottom and I will do my best to answer all of them.  ARE YOU STILL READIG THIS?

TODAY’s WOD

Deadlift

5-5-5-3-3 (work up to 85-90% 3Rm load)

then:

21-15-9

Power Clean (Floor to Shoulders) 185/125

Ring Dips (Scaled-Bar Dips)

There have been a few technical problems with the CF Games stuff.  No worries.  I will deal with that end of it.  What do you need to do.  REGISTER if you haven’t already!  After you’ve completed their stuff, look for the link that says JOIN A TEAM.  Type CROSSFIT WOODLAND in the search box and scroll down until you it.  Click JOIN!  I will accept you.  Then all you have do is come in and do the WOD each week.  I will figure out the logistics of that and keep you updated.

Be sure to check this site regularly!  There will probably be updates and changes in the comments, so read thoroughly.  As of 9:30 last night the WOD was not posted, but I will get it to you ASAP.

We will be hosting group WODs on Saturdays at 10:30 am, for now.  If that changes, you will get plenty of notice.  If you cannot make the Saturday group WOD, let a coach know and you can do it instead of what our daily program calls for.  The point is, we want all of you to participate no matter what. 

I am proud of all of you have taken on this challenge!  You won’t be disappointed and will look foward to many more in the future.

    I know a lot of you struggle with double-unders. Do not let this discourage you! This is a competition which means pushing yourself harder than you normally would. We are not setting up anyone for failure in this process.

    Scaling is allowed, however, you will be required to make a number of attempts at the prescribed movements before scaling is allowed. Those are my rules for our Box.
