Keeping organized keeps you focused

WOD #1 Nor-Cal 40’s

For time, complete the following in order:

50 Mountain Climbers (1 is 1)

15 Thrusters (Rx 135/95,  Scaled 95/65)

30 KB Swings (bottom of KB must face the ceiling) 53/35

45 Box Jumps 20/18

60 Pull-ups

75 Air Squats

400m Run (500m Row if raining)

Met-Con5 is putting there workout journal to the test.  They’ve put up $1000 and all you have to do is keep track of your workouts and general fitness.  You should all be doing it anyway, so why not try and make some cash for it.  From what I can tell, you don’t have to be Mr. or Ms. World Fitness, just do what you normally would do in your planner, memo pads or Iphones.  If you’ve been keeping track along the way, you’ll be able to fill-in a lot of the information so you’re not starting from scratch.  They’re offering a Free Trial on-line and I have a copy as well if you want to see it.  We’re getting closer to our Goal Challenge, so this may be a good kick-start for some of you who aren’t sure how to organize your fitness program.  Check out the website or email me for more info.

Also, I can see how many times the website is checked out.  I really want your feedback on how things are going, good and bad.  If I post something you agree or disagree with post it.  Maybe others have the same thought.

    The best way to get through this is not think about the next event. Focus on getting through what you’re doing and let your body take over for your mind. Do not talk yourself out of completeing this workout! One lift, one pull, one jump, one swing one squat at a time. You can and will do it!
