Dave showing good balance. Huge improvement dude!

Learning new things is always hard, but everyone did a great job picking up this new movement.  Working with dumbells is always more difficult because of the muscles needed to stabilize the weight.  Take one away and you force your body to compensate for the additional weight on one side.  This is how we work the “core” in CrossFit.  We incorporate our entire body to maintain stabilty from the center all the way out.  In one movement we improved balance, coordination, speed, strength, endurance, agility, and power.  Throwing that in with a gymnastic movement and we have stamina and flexibility.  All of those should sound very familiar to you all because that’s why we’re doing what we do.

Props go out to Nancy and Kelley on yesterday’s WOD.  They both have made tremendous strides in their pull-up ability and are getting stronger every day.  Great job ladies!  Keeping pushing the bar higher.
