Rest Day

CrossFit can become fanatical and there are people out there who take it as gospel.  If that’s your choice then by all means, do it!  I have a more realistic view of why we’re here and that’s to do whatever we do the best we can do it.  CrossFit will make you stronger, faster, leaner, and in better overall shape.  However, it will only provide for you what you give it.  Think of it as a sacrifice to the fitness gods.  Throw a donut at the alter and you will get very little in return.  Offer lean meat, vegetables, and healthy fats and you will receive a blessing of health and improved performance.  Get used to this topic.  You will see it again, and again.

I encourage you to look at CrossFit outside of this webpage.  It’s an amazing community of healthy, like-minded people that enjoy working hard and playing hard also.  CrossFit offers so many other benefits that a daily WOD.  Dig deeper and find how this type of exercise program can reverse chronic diseases, physically and mentally.  If you don’t know where to look, ask me and I will point you in the right direction.  The point is this, don’t make this just another workout!  Make it part of your life and your life will be better.
