Erica sent me this picture yesterday and I just about died.  I know the girl is strong, but damn! 

Everyone has been doing very well at these max effort days.  Not every week will be like this, but we have to start the ball rolling somewhere.  My goal is to get all our athletes at some 5, 3, or 1 rep max in all the major lifts so I can pull anything out of the bag of tricks and everyone will have an idea of what I’m talking about.  We are not all about heavy lifting, but you have to have an idea of what your current strength is in order to progress.  This is not a static program that repeats at the end.  We keep it constantly varied so there’s no time to adapt and plateau.  If and when that day comes, there is a ton of other things we can do.  Long story short, you never know what’s going happen next and that’s the way I like it.

Please get out and tell people how much this place rocks!  We have a free class Saturday mornings at 10:30 that’s open to everyone no matter what they’re fitness level.  Bring friends, family, co-workers, etc. and let them share the experience.  It’s an awesome time for you show off all the cool stuff you’ve learned.
