The Life-lift

Workout

Deadlift

5-5-5-5-5

then 3 rounds for time of:

10 Pull-ups

10 ring dips

Bound 40 feet (hop from one side of gym floor to the other)

Anyone have a Mini they want to donate?

We’re continuing our working max loads today with Deadlifts (or Life-lifts would be a more suitable name).  No other movement we do compares to strength needed to pull weight off the floor.  There’s no momentum, inertia, power movement.  It’s pure STRENGTH.  The Deadlift gives us our solid base for all other movements and building a stronger base would naturally make everything else we do stronger.  The picture of grandma yesterday should say a thousand words.
