That’s close to, if not more than, her body weight.  She’s not breaking a hip getting off the toilet.

Pushing and pulling are basic movements we all do daily and don’t give it a second thought.  Problems arise when we come across something we are unsure if we can move.  If you have never trained to move heavy objects, your fear is understandable.  That’s why you are training here.  We will be focusing the next couple weeks on getting you comfortable with moving heay weight off the ground and over your head.  Anyone who has ever said they don’t need to do this has changed their mind the first time they put more weight over their head and believed it when they lifted more the second time.  Lifting heavy weight not only increases stength but also bone density which makes you less likely to break bones and develop illnesses like osteoporosis.  You should lift weight until the day you die.
