What are your Goals?

It’s time to start setting your GOALS! I want to know what you wish to accomplish in the next 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months.  “Loosing weight” is not a goal; it’s a cop out that sets you up for failure. “Being fit”, “getting in shape”, “toning up”, etc. are the same.  They are not achievable goals because they are not SPECIFIC!  Being specific about what you want to accomplish allows you to track your progress with measurable and observable results. That’s why we put it in writing so we can remind ourselves and change them if necessary.   If you are stuck or are having problems getting specific, ask me.  That’s why we are here!   We will talk more about this during classes, but start thinking about it now.

Not that I planned it this way but, Friday is an important day in our program.  It will be our first day of strength testing and will setting a benchmark for your progress here.  I’m opening this Friday up to all members, even if you’ve done your 2x this week.  I want to see all of you achieve your maximum fitness potential which can only be done by getting stronger.  I’ll be in the gym around 3 p.m. on Friday until after the 6p.m. class so, please find some time to drop by and move some heavy ass weight!
