This is my Workout Jornal!  There are many others like it, but this one is mine!  A little military humor.  Seriously though, a workout journal is essential to your success.  In CrossFit we talk about results that are measurable and observable.  How else are you going to do that in a program designed to be constantly varied.  Most of you can’t remember what set you’re on during a workout, much less how much you lifted 3-4 months ago or what your last 5k time was.  The Journal is how we tell ourselves “Great Job!” or “should have worked harder”. 

Your Journal should also reflect who you are or to reinforce your goals.  Mine comes from an animated video that circulated around the crossfit community a year or so ago. 

If you can’t laugh at yourself, get a better sense of humor!  Show some creativity and have fun!  That’s why we’re here, right?  We just happen to get in really good shape in the process.
